Who we are and what we do

You can find us in Rogaška Slatina, the Slovenian cradle of glassmaking, in the south of the wine-growing region of Styria.

Our vineyard is located at approximately 300-330 meters above sea level in a south-eastern position, which provides optimal conditions for growing vines and producing wine. We have very hot
summers and cold winters, and vines grow in a combination of limestone and loam.

Due to the cultivation method, where the emphasis is on minimal interventions, our batches are very dependent on weather conditions. Sparkling wines are made according to the traditional method
and are not disgorged or filtered. There is a lot of »green work«, such as manually plucking leaves in case of disease. The limited quantity of produced sparkling wines is additionally contributed with care
cutting the vines in such a way that less than a liter of wine is obtained from each vine on average, which means that the quality of the grapes is higher and the vine is less stressed.
